What the estimate means
The planner uses a different baseline for standard dogs, larger sausages and mini dogs, then adjusts for appetite and your reserve. It also adds a small bun allowance because damaged or undersized buns can occur.
Adjust for your event
Treat the result as a planning baseline. Appetite, side dishes, package sizes, age mix, serving time and local preferences can change what you need.
